Is the grant really free? What’s the catch?

Yes, it really is free! The grants we access are part of Government-backed schemes like ECO4 and the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS). If your home qualifies, the cost of your energy-saving upgrades is fully covered, you don’t have to pay anything upfront or later. There are no hidden fees, and we will always be upfront if there are any options that fall outside of the free grant offer. 

The funding comes from a combination of the UK Government and major energy suppliers. Through schemes like ECO4, energy companies are legally obligated to help households improve their energy efficiency, part of the UK’s wider plan to reach Net Zero by 2050.
