On 2nd January 2025, One Energy® officially came to life.
We launched the business with a clear purpose: to become the UK’s most trusted provider of energy-saving advice and delivery – for both domestic households and commercial customers.
Our ambition isn’t to follow the status quo, but to reshape the way people understand, access, and benefit from energy-saving solutions. Whether it’s through government-backed grants, smart technology, or commercial consultancy, One Energy was created to cut through the jargon, streamline the experience, and deliver real-world impact.
And while it’s still early days, the progress we’ve made in our first 90 days reflects the pace, precision, and ambition we are bringing to this mission.
Q1 Highlights: A Snapshot of Progress
Since launching, we’ve:

⚡️ Designed and launched our full brand identity
⚡️ Designed, built and launched phase one of our public-facing website
⚡️ Built and deployed our internal CRM system
⚡️ Built an MVP version of our Partner Portal and launch our Beta testing phase
⚡️ Registered the One Energy® trademark
⚡️ Recruited a talented team of 7
⚡️ Moved into our first office, and then quickly into a larger more permanent space
⚡️ Formed an official community driven partnership with Burnley FC in the Community
⚡️ Raised over £2,000 in donations for Burnley FC in the Community
⚡️ Joined the Burnley Bondholders business network
⚡️ Onboarded multiple high-quality delivery partners, providing us with national coverage
⚡️ Built a varied network of referral partners
⚡️ Delivered over 100 energy saving measures for our customers
⚡️ Facilitated tens of thousands of pounds worth of savings per year for our customers
⚡️ Shortlisted for two UK StartUp awards; Rural Startup of the Year / Green Startup of the Year
⚡️ Secured an official partnership with B-Corp certified supplier Good Energy

Our vision is to become the go-to destination for energy-saving support in the UK, and that means becoming a source of truth, clarity and innovation in a space that is too often confusing and fragmented.
From the very beginning, we’ve taken a technology-first approach to simplify processes and improve user experience. Our custom-built CRM and Partner Portal are already supporting our growing network of delivery and referral partners — and we’re continuing to invest in tools that make navigating the energy landscape easier, faster, and more transparent for everyone.
